RIP iPhone?

Don't you think your iPhone is getting old? Your waiting is over! Well... Partially.

Mozilla has been developing a new concept mobile phone, called the Mozilla Seabird. And it's super awesome.

When I saw the video for the first time, the first few seconds I was like: Meh. No big deal. I didn't like the phones design. The bottom part looks like it will break off immediately.
But then the music kicked in.
Then they made a close up of the phone.
Then the Android user interface was displayed. (With Firefox!)
Then the Dual Pico Projectors came into view. Wait...

Dual Pico Projectors? What? Projectors on a mobile phone? Like on the Samsung Beam? Does that make sense? Yes it does.
Unlike other projectors, this projector is actually used to gather input for the device (like a keyboard) rather than displaying output (like a movie). And it is said to provide "notebook-style interaction". The projectors are also one of the reasons for the phones strange design: to correctly display a keyboard on a surface, the projector needs to be somewhat elevated.

Another cool feature is the "embedded bluetooth dongle", which is actually a multipurpose device! It serves as a bluetooth headset and as a remote control for the phone. It's integrated into the phone, so you won't lose it. And that is just the tip of the iceberg of what the phone is capable of!

Sadly, Mozilla is not planning to release such a phone. But do you like it? Would it replace the dominant iPhone? And more importantly: would you buy one?
